Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) Disclosure Requirements
As a Registered BAS Agent, our business is required to comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA) and related legislative instruments, including the Code of Professional Conduct.
Under this legislation, we are obligated to make our clients and prospective clients aware of the following:
• How to verify our registration: You can search the public register of registered tax practitioners on the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) website.
• How to make a complaint: If you have concerns about our services, you may lodge a complaint directly with the TPB.
• Your rights and obligations: These include your responsibilities as a client and our duties to act lawfully, honestly, and in your best interests.
• Prescribed events (within the last 5 years): We are required to disclose any prescribed events, such as insolvency or certain convictions, that have occurred.
• Conditions of registration: If our registration is subject to any specific conditions, we must inform you.
